Cable and Wireless funding for technology projects PDF Print E-mail

The telecommunications company Cable and Wireless has launched a charitable foundation, and has announced that it is seeking to partner with organisations that support the specialist communication requirements of disabled people. The company has invested £200,000 into the Foundation and expects to raise an extra £100,000 from staff at Cable and Wireless. It has invited applications for funding for research, development or implementation projects, and will also be offering technical expertise and communications solutions. 

 
The criteria for applications include:
opportunities for Cable and Wireless to offer technical expertise
a need for communications solutions
publicity opportunities
the capacity to measure and report benefits and return on investment
 
The deadline for funding applications is 1 August 2011.
