Planning Aid for London launches audio guide PDF Print E-mail

Funded by LondonNations, Planning Aid for London have produced an audio guide in collaboration with National Talking Express and a group of young visually impaired people to help young disabled people to get involved in the design and planning of their local area. The group participating in the project gave opinions about their neighbourhoods' accessibility, revealing key points such as feeling unsafe near main roads and zebra crossings.

The audio guide will be available from December and is free. It will also be available in MP3 format from the Planning Aid for London's website. The audio guide will be launched at an event being held at The Canal Museum in King’s Cross on Monday 7 December from 1pm - 4pm. At the event excerpts from the guide will be played and information on Planning Aid for London's town planning training for visually impaired people within town planning.
