Guidance on legislation PDF Print E-mail

Please note that this page requires further updates to reflect changes in legislation and relevant guidance.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has produced guidance on equality legislation. These publications, along with ones produced by the former Disability Rights Commission (DRC), are downloadable from the EHRC website. New publications are also often added to the EHRC website.

Codes of Practice

Codes of Practice explain the statuory provisions of the Equality Act 2010, and are intended to ensure that the law is applied consistently by the lower courts and tribunals. They also intend to help make the law accessible to a wider audience.

Codes of Practice relating to the different areas of the law can be found on the EHRC website.
