The Disability Law Service is offering free training to peer support groups in London as part of its London development work. The training covers topics such as:

•    legal rights and entitlements under the DDA, Equality Act and Community Care legislation including personalisation
•    practical skills to use the law such as finding advice, managing emotions and communicating effectively

Sessions are aimed to be interactive and engaging, and the training can be tailored to the interests, needs and abilities of different groups. Half-day workshops which look at a particular subject are also available.
