Free Design in Planning workshops for planners
The Design Council CABE is running a series of free Design in Planning workshops over the summer. Each of the workshops, which are for planners working in local authorities, will explore a different aspect of design in the planning system.

Women’s Design Service seminar: Toilet Talk  
The Women’s Design Service is holding a seminar, named Toilet talk: Women’s needs on 25 July 2011. The seminar will look at why the needs of women aren’t being met in public toileting provision. The seminar will examine the British Standard for public toilets and discuss how women can influence decision-makers to make improvements to local facilities.
