The Action for Access campaign, run by the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability, is holding a week of action form 6 to 12 June 2011. During this week, the campaign is encouraging people to download a campaign form and complete access survey forms for services in their local areas.

The University of Leicester is hosting this half-day seminar on 10 June. The seminar will provide an overview of key features of the Equality Act 2010, including equal pay and positive action, and will give a critical overview of its implications for the pursuit of equality in the workplace. RADAR’s MP Disability dialogue
In May and June, the Royal Association for Disability Rights (RADAR) is holding a Disability dialogue, during which it is encouraging disabled people to meet with their MPs and find out how their MP can help them. RADAR hopes that this will result in ongoing relationships between MPs and disabled people, and help disabled people campaign for change. RADAR will provide anybody wishing to take part with information and has a limited budget to help with access costs.
