Liberty Festival 
The Liberty Festival is an annual event at Trafalgar Square, celebrating the contribution of disabled people to London’s culture.  This year’s festival will include a sports and arts area, an aerial performance zone, a children’s zone, featuring a ‘Windy Wonderland’ area of wind machines, fabric and sound, a cabaret and comedy programme and a music stage.

Learning and skills: Disability and the Equality Act 2010 – What you need to know and do
The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and SKILL, the National Bureau for Students with Disabilities, are running a series of briefing seminars for staff working in the learning and skills sector. The aim of each of the briefing seminars is to examine the Equality Act and what its implementation will mean in practice for learning and skills providers, with particular reference to disabled learners and carers who are learners.
