London Accessible Housing Register information events
Events are taking place in July as part of a roadshow to inform people about the London Accessible Housing Register (LAHR). These events are aimed at people living in London who qualify for social housing. They will explain more about the LAHR, which provides information on the accessibility of social housing properties, allowing users to make informed choices.
The dates and locations of the events are as follows:
7 July - Ealing Centre for Independent Living
9 July - The 366 Centre, Brixton
14 July - Community House, South Street, Bromley
15 July - Guy Chester Centre, Muswell Hill
16 July - The Score Centre, Leyton

ACEVO health and social care conference
The Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) is hosting a conference on health and social care and the third sector. The conference will explore shifts in Government policy regarding health and social care, and will consider the implications for the voluntary sector and the partnerships that health and social care organisations may need to build in future.

Scottish Technical Handbook update seminars
The Scottish Government is providing seminars on the 2010 versions of the Scottish Technical Handbooks, which were published in April 2010 and which will come into force on 1 October 2010. The seminars are taking place between July and October 2010 in Livingston, and will focus on the major changes in the guidance.
