This section is mainly aimed at people who are looking to set up a new group from scratch – it will address some of the issues that need to be considered as well as the challenges that may be encountered.
Even if your group is already well established, you may find that the information in this section helps you to review how it is currently set up.
If you want to set up an access group in your local area, the first task should be to contact any local organisations of disabled people. They should be able to put you in touch with other local people interested in access issues. They may also know if there is already a group in the area that you could join, rather than starting up a new one.
