Notes: The Teignbridge Access Group are local people trying to improve access for the disabled in the area. We are a voluntary service and advice organisation. We are a group of people, some disabled and some able bodied, that meet on a monthly basis in Kingsteignton. We discuss local disability access issues and liaise with the local authority and other service groups including the disability rights commission. We try to improve access in the local area and improve the environment for people with disabilities, whether physical, sight impaired or hearing impaired. If you would like to see better access and mobility for people with disabilities, who live in or are visiting the Teignbridge area, than we would like to make you welcome at our group.
